Arsenal have already earned more than £120million in UEFA prize money from their run to this season’s Champions League final – and winning it could be worth £10million more.
The Gunners booked their place in the May 30 final in Budapest thanks to Tuesday night’s 1-0 semi-final second leg victory over Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium, which completed a 2-1 aggregate win.
That success means Mikel Arteta’s men have already earned over 142m euros (£122.6m).
Every team that entered the league phase received an 18.62m euro (£16m) starting fee, with Arsenal’s table-topping exploits ensuring they received 40.6m euros (£35m) in performance fees, including 11m euros (£9.5m) for reaching the last 16.

Arsenal are also estimated by the respected financial finance blog Swiss Ramble to have earned 37m euros (£32m) from UEFA’s ‘value pillar’ payments. This is worked out by ranking clubs based on the value of a country’s media market, combined with individual clubs’ performances in Europe over the last five and 10 years in UEFA’s coefficient rankings.
A further 12.5m euros (£10.8m) in prize money was given to teams reaching the quarter-finals, and an extra 15m euros (£12.9m) for getting to the semis. Progressing to the final on Tuesday night was worth another 18.5m euros (£16m).
If they overcome Bayern Munich or Paris St Germain, that guarantees them a further 10.5m euros (£9m) made up of a 6.5m win bonus and 4m for qualifying for the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. The winner of that match receives a further 1m euros (£863,000).
