May 10:Arsenal visit West Ham. If Arsenal win and Manchester City lose to Brentford on May 9, the gap stays at 6 points. While mathematically possible to clinch soon after, City's game in hand means Arsenal can’t officially win the title on this specific Sunday, regardless of results.
May 13: Manchester City host Crystal Palace. This is the earliest "couch celebration" date. If Arsenal beat West Ham and City lose to both Brentford (May 9) and Palace (May 13), Arsenal would be 9 points clear with City only having 9 points left to play for. Because Arsenal currently have a superior goal difference (+41 vs City's +37), they would effectively be champions.
May 18: Arsenal host Burnley. If Arsenal wins their next two games and City drops points in any of their three fixtures leading up to this Monday night, the Gunners could officially clinch the title at the Emirates Stadium in front of their home fans.
May 19: Manchester City play their game in hand away at Bournemouth. If the title isn't settled by the 18th, a City loss here - combined with Arsenal winning their matches - would mathematically hand the title to North London before the final day.
May 24 (The final day): Arsenal travel to Crystal Palace, while City host Aston Villa. If both teams win all their preceding games, Arsenal enter the day with a 3-point lead. A draw or win for Arsenal on this day guarantees them the title, regardless of City's score.
The tied-points scenario: If Arsenal dras one of their remaining games and City win all of theirs, both teams would finish on 82 points. In this case, the winner is decided by goal difference. Currently, Arsenal hold a slight edge (+4), meaning every goal scored in these final weeks is a potential title-decider.
