Arsenal now face the enormous challenge of refocusing their attention on the Premier League title race. The Gunners travel to West Ham United on Sunday, just days after securing their place in the Champions League final. Mikel Arteta's side sit five points clear of Manchester City, who have played a game fewer than their title rivals. Arsenal received an unexpected boost when City were held to a draw at Everton on Monday, and can move closer to clinching the trophy with a victory at the weekend.
However, the forthcoming clash with West Ham arrives hot on the heels of the side's hard-fought semi-final triumph over Atletico Madrid. Arsenal star Declan Rice delivered an unambiguous message ahead of facing his former club this weekend. Meanwhile, the north Londoners have already concluded a transfer ahead of the summer window.
Here's a look at some of the biggest stories surrounding Arsenal at the moment...
Rice has made clear that Arsenal must not allow Man City to claw back ground in the Premier League table. The midfielder is preparing to face relegation-threatened West Ham, where he flourished after being released by Chelsea.
He has firmly demanded that the Gunners win every one of their remaining fixtures to end the club's 22-year wait for a league title.
"That club gave me everything, without West Ham there's no me," Rice told Prime Video. "I honestly believe that. They gave me a chance when Chelsea didn't.
"A lot of people there really pushed me on, (David) Moyes, (Slaven) Bilic and (Manuel) Pellegrini made me captain. There's loads of good things about that club, so it's not nice to see the position they're in.
"But it's football and I've got a job to do on Sunday. We're trying to win a Premier League title, we want to win every game and I'm sure they will want to as well, so let the best team win."
Arsenal complete transfer
Porto have confirmed that defender Jakub Kiwior has finalised a permanent switch from Arsenal.
The centre-back spent the campaign on loan with the newly crowned Portuguese champions, making 38 appearances across all competitions.
A statement from Porto confirmed that the Arsenal loanee had been acquired for an initial £14.68million, with a further £4.32m in potential add-ons.
Kiwior has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the club, which carries a £60.45m release clause. Should the Polish international be sold at a later date, Arsenal will pocket an additional fixed fee of £1.73m.
Kiwior joined the Gunners from Spezia back in January 2023, going on to make 68 appearances for the north London club.
