Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said Paris Saint-Germain have an “extraordinary quality” that makes them “unstoppable” ahead of the Champions League final.

PSG are on course to retain their European crown after beating Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

The Parisians showed two sides to their game across both legs, demonstrating a high level of finishing in the 5-4 win at home before shutting Bayern out on Wednesday night to secure a 1-1 draw.

Wenger, who defended Arsenal’s celebrations after their semi-final win over Atletico Madrid, believes PSG are a complete team and has highlighted how efficient their attackers are.

“After a game like that you could say Bayern were not at the expected level or you can say that PSG had a really solid game,” Wenger said on beIN SPORTS.

“Personally I would go with the second and say PSG defended fantastically well and they maintained the press and never gave a chance to Bayern or any hope of a comeback.

“Overall I would outline the quality of PSG who have become a really complete team with great cohesion.

“They also have another extraordinary quality, and that is that any striker in this team in a one-versus-one finishes with a shot on goal and it’s unstoppable.

“They make sure the goalkeeper has to make a save and that’s a formidable quality.”

Ousmane Dembele scored half of PSG’s goals in their Champions League semi-final win over Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer was beaten six times by PSG across both legs, but pulled off multiple saves in the second leg to keep his side in the tie up until the final whistle.

He said to DAZN: “We didn’t have many clear-cut chances, but when you do get those moments... look at Paris – they were simply killers, scoring five goals the way they did in the first leg.
