Arsenal v West Ham Oct 2025
West Ham United v Arsenal Premier League, London Stadium, Sunday 10 May 2026, 4.30pm BST
West Ham United return to Premier League action at home to London rivals Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers will be looking to secure the full share of the spoils in order to boost our push for survival. As things stand, with three games to go, we sit in 18th, one point behind 17th-place Tottenham Hotspur, who host Leeds United on Monday night.
Mikel Arteta's Gunners have plenty to play for, too. Having beaten Atlético Madrid 1-0 in the second leg of the teams' UEFA Champions League semi-final tie on Tuesday night, and subsequently secured passage to the competition's showpiece for the first time since 2006, their full attention has now switched back to lifting the Premier League trophy for the first time for 22 years. They are currently five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the standings, having played one game more.
A mouth-watering encounter awaits then, with plenty at stake, and as anticipation continues to build you can find everything you need to know about the game by scrolling below...

We Are West Ham. United...
West Ham United has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination. Equality, equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of the Club and we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcome to attend our fixtures in a safe environment.
Any form of discriminatory behaviour or chanting is unacceptable; it has no place in football and has serious criminal consequences. West Ham United will take the strongest possible action against any individual found to be engaging in such behaviour, including potential lifetime bans and referral to the police.
The Club can also face disciplinary action if any of its supporters are found to have engaged in this behaviour, which is not representative of the West Ham United fanbase and will not be tolerated by the Club. The Club was recently fined £120,000 and imposed with an action plan after fans engaged in discriminatory chanting during the 2024/25 season.
As well as fines, the FA can also impose sanctions such as a partial or full stadium closure. This sanction could be imposed on West Ham United if a section of supporters engage in discriminatory chanting in the 2025/26 or 2026/27 seasons.
West Ham United provides a number of support mechanisms on matchday to ensure that supporters can report any incidents discreetly and in confidence. To report any incidents during a match, you can speak with the nearest steward or Supporter Liaison Officer, or text our reporting line on 07701 401966. You can also contact West Ham United at supporterservices@westhamunited.co.uk. Please provide as much information as possible, including the stand, row, seat number, description of the offender and incident.
We believe that the overwhelming majority of West Ham United supporters share these values and will work with us to continue to protect the Club’s status as an equity leader in the Premier League, a position recognised and acknowledged through our award and continuous retention of the Advanced level Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard - the league’s highest accolade attainable in this area. Anyone attending matches who does not share these values, does not share the diverse and inclusive values that West Ham United and our community stand for.
Increased security measures ahead of Arsenal fixture
West Ham United would like to make all supporters aware that there will be increased security activity taking place at our two remaining home fixtures of the season against Arsenal and Leeds United. This is for the safety of all supporters and to prevent any fans of the away clubs from gaining access to home sections of the stadium.
We kindly ask all supporters attending these matches for patience when entering London Stadium to allow staff to perform these checks, and to arrive as early as possible to avoid the busiest times in the 45 minutes ahead of kick-off.
Entering London Stadium
Supporters may observe an increased security presence when entering London Stadium and may need to comply with additional checks at the turnstiles. These measures are in place to ensure that home supporters only are seated in home sections and that all spectators have a safe and comfortable matchday experience. We kindly ask all supporters for patience when entering the stadium to allow our staff to carry out these checks, particularly during the busiest period in the 45 minutes leading up to kick-off.
Unauthorised Entry To Matches...
The Government has passed new legislation making tailgating, and other forms of unauthorised entry to football matches, a criminal offence.
This new legislation came about as a result of an independent review commissioned by the FA to look into crowd disorder seen at the UEFA Euro 2020 final at Wembley. The recommendation was to deter football-related disorder which included tailgating and forced entry of premises.
Following the recommendations, The Unauthorised Entry to Football Matches Act 2026 was passed. The Act now makes it an offence for any person to enter or attempt to enter a football match without a valid match ticket eligible for the event they are entering or attempting to enter.
Those found guilty of unauthorised entry may face a criminal record, a fine of up to £1,000 and a Football Banning Order for up to five years. Click HERE to find out more.
Half-And-Half Scarves...
West Ham United would like to remind supporters that half-and-half scarves and any items displaying the colours or crests of both clubs are permanently banned inside London Stadium. This policy applies at all fixtures.
Supporters arriving with half-and-half scarves purchased from unofficial sellers will be required to hand them over to security staff at the security checkpoints and these scarves will not be returned once surrendered.
Fans wishing to purchase a scarf for the game are encouraged to visit the official West Ham United Stadium Store or the Riverside East retail pop-up, where a full range of official merchandise is available ahead of kick-off.

Team News...
Nuno Espírito Santo will hold his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, at which he may confirm his team news for Sunday's game.
The Head Coach named an unchanged side for the fourth successive game away at Brentford last time out, and he will be hoping that all his players came out of that hard-fought clash unscathed.
Arsenal duo Mikel Merino (foot) and Jurrien Timber (groin) are both unlikely to be available to away boss Mikel Arteta.

Opposition...
Arsenal have been in England’s top-flight for 101 seasons, and only Liverpool and Manchester United have been crowned League champions more times than the Gunners.
However, it is 22 years since the north Londoners last lifted the Premier League trophy, and Arsenal supporters are eager for that winless run to be ended sooner rather than later.
Since that triumph in 2003/04, Arsenal have finished as runners-up on five occasions - including each of the previous three seasons - and third four times.
Those recent near misses have left Gunners fans frustrated.
In 2022/23, their team won 26 matches and collected 84 points, but finished as runners-up to Manchester City.
In 2023/24, Arsenal won 28 of 38 matches and collected 89 points, but finished as runners-up to Manchester City.
Last season, Arsenal won 20 and lost just four matches and collected 74 points, but finished as runners-up to Liverpool.
This season, when Arsenal beat Everton on Saturday 14 March to go nine points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, the long wait for a 14th English League title looked almost certain to be coming to an end.
Then, back-to-back defeats by AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City saw Pep Guardiola’s side close the gap to three points, and with a game in-hand.
Back-to-back wins over Newcastle United and Fulham since then have got things back on track, and with Manchester City dropping points in a 3-3 draw at Everton on Bank Holiday Monday, the ball is back in Arsenal's court.
At the time of writing, the north Londoners sit five points clear of City having played one game more, though truly, with three weeks of the season remaining, the destination of the Premier League trophy remains too close to call.
Such is the nature of modern-day football, and the scrutiny placed on every club, its players and, above all, its manager or head coach, Arsenal’s recent close calls have led to speculation about the future of Mikel Arteta.
When you look at the consistency Arsenal have shown under the Spaniard over the past few seasons, it seems unfair to call his future into question - but Arsenal fans really want to end that long wait for another Premier League title.
The next three games will decide whether or not that wait ends this season, and potentially who will be picking the Arsenal team come August.

Brilliant Bowen In Away Win | Arsenal v West Ham | Premier League Highlights
Sunday's contest marks the 155th competitive meeting between West Ham and Arsenal, and the 60th in the Premier League.
Overall, the Gunners lead the head-to-head statistics, with 75 wins to their name. There have been 41 draws between the teams, while West Ham have come out on top on 38 occasions.
The Hammers have claimed the full share of the spoils in three of the last six match-ups, with Jarrod Bowen striking the only goal in a 1-0 win at Emirates Stadium last season, in February 2025. Before that, we triumphed 2-0 at the Emirates in December 2023, and 3-1 on home turf in the EFL Cup the month prior.
In general, London Stadium has been a reasonably happy hunting ground for the Gunners, who have won on five of their ten visits, including the instantly forgettable 5-2 defeat in November 2024.
Back in May 1980, the Irons claimed their third and most-recent FA Cup title thanks to a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the final, with Trevor Brooking’s 13th-minute strike proving the difference at Wembley.
