Arsenal have made contact over a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola this summer, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Gunners are on the brink of a historic season after reaching the Champions League final for the first time since 2006, where they'll face PSG in Budapest, while they also sit five points clear of Man City at the top of the Premier League table with three games remaining of the campaign.
But that hasn't stopped Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta beginning to look at plans for the summer window to strengthen for the next season, and that includes a star forward signing.
Arsenal Make Move for Barcola

Barcola, who has been described as 'one of the best wingers in the world', has been exceptional for PSG since joining from Lyon, and this season he has scored 12 goals and registered five assists for the Ligue 1 champions.
However, he has found regular first-team football more hard to come by because of the form of Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, which has led to speculation that he could look to depart Paris.
Sky Sports report that Arsenal have been closely monitoring Barcola's situation for months, and contact has been made for them to gather all the relevant information about a transfer.
Arsenal are keen to bring in a top left-winger this summer, and a move for Barcola is understood to be possible as he looks to play more regularly. PSG don't want to lose him, but the 23-year-old is entering the final two years of his contract at the club, and talks over a new deal have stalled.
Arsenal Desperate for Barcola Transfer

Barcola will be hoping to hurt Arsenal when the two teams meet against each other in the Champions League final on May 30th, but the Gunners will be hoping that his next game at club level after that is for the north London side.
Barcola is an electric winger with fantastic pace, skills, and creativity, which should see him slot in seamlessly on the left wing at the Emirates, in a position which has been a bit of a problem for Arteta in recent years.
A big fee would be needed, but a player like Barcola at his best is worth every penny, and his arrival would no doubt help take the club up a level and help them to dominate for years to come.
