Mikel Arteta has issued an Arsenal injury update ahead of facing West Ham

Mikel Arteta has revealed Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Sunday's Premier League trip across London to West Ham.

The Spaniard is still riding the high of Tuesday night when the Gunners sealed their spot in the Champions League final on May 30.

When quizzed if Arsenal picked up any new injuries following their hard-fought win over Atletico Madrid, Arteta said: "No [fresh concerns], nothing to add."

Unfortunately, right-back Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino will not be back in time to face the Hammers, though.

He said of the duo: "No chance for them this weekend."

Timber has not missed eight weeks with a groin injury while Merino has been pictured stepping up his recovery, running on the grass following foot surgery earlier this year.

When asked if they will play again this season, Arteta said: "I don't know there is still a fair bit to do. Everything needs to be so smooth and quick."
