PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A 1997 card featuring NBA legend Steve Nash is headed to auction and could sell for more than $75,000.
The card is part of the ultra-rare Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems series — a favorite among collectors for its flashy 90s design and limited print run.
Only 100 of the cards were made, and this one is number four. The Nash rookie card is being sold by Heritage Auctions.
Nash became one of the NBA’s best point guards in his time with the Phoenix Suns. He won back-to-back MVP awards in 2005 and 2006 while revolutionizing offensive guard play.
