Katie McCabe's future has been the topic of much speculation in recent weeks, with the Ireland captain believed to be on the verge of leaving Arsenal after over a decade with the club.
McCabe's contract expires at the end of the season, and there has been no announcement forthcoming with regards to a renewal.

By contrast, widespread reports have suggested that this will be McCabe's final season as a Gunner, with the Dubliner set to depart upon the expiry of her contract.
The past week has seen her linked with WSL champions Manchester City, and a move to an English or European club is reported to be preferred should she indeed leave Arsenal.
However, the latest news suggests that McCabe's departure might not yet be a done deal.

Kathryn Batte of The Telegraph reports this Friday that Arsenal are now "likely" to offer Katie McCabe a new contract with the club.
Batte reports that McCabe has a "loyalty" to Arsenal but that the possibility of leaving the club has not yet been closed off.
Since joining in 2015, McCabe has won the WSL, FA Cup, three League Cups, and last year was a vital cog in the team which won the UEFA Champions League, only the second in the club's history.

After Arsenal's exit at the semi-final stage to Lyon last Saturday, an emotional McCabe was captured in footage from the stands, drawing many to conclude her time with Arsenal was over.
Her Ireland head coach Carla Ward had suggested the 30-year-old left-back would be looking for a new club when asked on the matter in February.
I speak to the players quite frequently and certainly about their futures and where they're at. Yes, I've spoken to Katie.
In my opinion, Katie, I've said this for a long time pre-coming in, she's one of the best left-backs in the world. I think that she will have a lot of options. I think there'll be a lot of people wanting to speak to her, wanting her signature.
I think the beauty of it, when you're one of the very best in the world, you're not going to be short of options. Wherever she moves, in my opinion, will be a top club getting a very top player.
Her choice of words in saying, "Wherever she moves," certainly suggested a transfer was imminent.

McCabe herself, though, was coy when asked on her future ahead of last month's victory over Poland.
"I am fully committed to do my job here with Ireland," McCabe said.
"I’m just concentrating on these games and seeing out the rest of the season."

Having looked set for the exit door, there could yet be a future at Arsenal for Katie McCabe.
