NBA news: Official Foot Locker account deletes shocking tweets calling out Lakers-Thunder referees

Game 2 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder finished as blowout victory for the home team to take a 2-0 series lead. But everyone who watched that game outside of the Thunder and their fans left that game is a sour taste in their mouth, watching what they deemed to be frustrating foul-grifting and bad officiating in favor of the Thunder.

Fans on social media were largely expressing their displeasure with the officiating, but an especially surprising account got in on the action.

The official Foot Locker account took to Twitter and posted out multiple tweets regarding the bad officiating to the Thunder's flopping. A couple of tweets were deleted, but a number still remain up on their timeline.

The Thunder won Game 2, 125-107, after outscoring the Lakers 61-38 over the final 20 minutes of the game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren led the way for Oklahoma City with 22 points apiece, while Ajay Mitchell added 20 points.

Austin Reaves led the Lakers in scoring with 31 points and six assists on 10-of-16 shooting. The Lakers was the main talking point of the night after his multiple run-ins with official John Goble during Game 2 and his postgame comments calling Goble, “disrespectful.”

“I felt like I was respectful to all of them all night,” Reaves told reporters after the game. “A million times in the past, I've said way worse stuff. And when we were doing the whole tip ball and they were switching spots, I wanted to get on the other side because they had a guy on the other side, was just trying to keep an advantage. And he turned around and yelled in my face. I just thought it was disrespectful.”
