Chicago Bulls forward Guerschon Yabusele, in partnership with other professional basketball players, has made a financial investment in Belgian basketball team Mons-Hainaut, which has been struggling financially in recent months.
In the coming months, Guerschon Yabusele will have to make an important decision about his future, as his contract with the Chicago Bulls is set to expire.

In the meantime, however, the French player has decided to enter the world of investing. Yabusele, along with other professional players, is part of the French company CityX Clubs, which has just acquired a majority stake in the Belgian club Mons-Hainaut.
A historic Belgian basketball club with two national titles to its name, Mons-Hainaut had found itself in a serious financial crisis in recent months, with mounting debts and the risk of having to file for bankruptcy.
Last week, however, the club managed to secure its license to participate in the league for next season as well, thanks to assurances from CityX Clubs, which was in the process of completing its acquisition of the team.
In addition to Guerschon Yabusele, the group of entrepreneurs that saved Mons-Hainaut also includes Amath M'Baye, who currently plays for Paris Basketball, and Manu Lecomte, captain of the Belgian national team and a former product of the Mons-Hainaut youth system.
Pape-Philippe Amagou, a former French player and now a sportscaster, will play a key role at the Belgian club, serving as general manager. CityX Clubs was founded by Babacar Sy, a former NBA scout for franchises such as the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, and Houston Rockets.
