West Ham United’s Flying Dutchman Crysencio Summerville will head into tomorrow’s crucial Arsenal clash with several points to prove. The 24 year-old has been slowly returning to near the peak of his form having missed three games with a calf injury.
After struggling on his first game back, Summerville has grown in pace and goal threat without, as they say, ‘troubling the scorers’ in cricket parlance, coming close against Brentford with one shot the rattled the woodwork as the whole Hammers family wonders ‘what might have been’ on another day against their west London Rivals.
Crysencio Summerville has just three games to fore his way into the Dutch World Cup squad
The Dutchman will be bursting to improve on his ‘near miss’ tomorrow in front of a packed London Stadium and in probably the highest profile game of the season. Potential Champions Arsenal take-on potential Championship-bound West Ham United.

Summerville can force his way into the Dutch world cup squad with a ‘showtime’ performance tomorrow
A goal or two would cement his status as a Claret and Blue hero, and would also announce his return to full fitness and form, surely encouraging Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman to ink his name into the Dutch World Cup squad which will be announced later this month.

As footballinsider247.com reported with a certain amount of glee this morning, Summerville is high on the shopping list of several Premier League clubs should the Hammers sink into the second tier. Announcing his return to top form live on Sky will likely do his career prospects no harm art all.
“West Ham don’t want to lose Summerville, if they go down, it’ll be a real uphill task to keep hold of him.”
Runs the report. You think?
“Tottenham have had a long-term interest in the Dutchman, and I’m sure if they can stay up at the expense of West Ham, they’ll be hoping that they could maybe lure him away.
There’ll be a lot of Premier League clubs who will be looking at the tricky winger hoping that he could be snapped up and capitalise on West Ham’s potential relegation.”
Whilst there’s life, there’s hope, however, and management, squad and supporters at West Ham will be hoping to see Summerville get back to the peak of his goalscoring form that highlighted the Hammers early year revival.
After all, there’d be no better place for ‘showtime’ ( as Summerville himself promised) than against the aspiring champions tomorrow.
