JJ Redick drops brutal admission as Lakers facing brutal sweep from OKC

JJ Redick and the Lakers' season are on the verge of a devastating end following a tough Game 3 loss against the Thunder.

JJ Redick can only admit that he and the Los Angeles Lakers are completely being manhandled by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

"The MVP is 18, 22, 7-of-20 [from the field] tonight, and they’ve kicked our ass three straight games," Redick told reporters following his team's 131-108 loss in Game 3.

"They’re an incredible basketball team."

After lopsided finishes in the first two games of the series in Oklahoma City, Redick and the Lakers have endured another walloping blow from the defending champs on Saturday night.

As such, the Thunder’s wins over the Lakers in the Western Semifinals have come by a staggering average margin of 19.6 points.

This completely shows how both teams are completely apart from each other. As the Lakers continue to significantly miss the presence of Luka Doncic, the Thunder are showing no mercy on the other hand with their stacked group led by reigning league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Still, despite the odds being completely against them, Redick remains optimistic about the Lakers' chances to take at least one win and keep their season going beyond the upcoming must-win Game 4 on Monday.

“They’re a terrific basketball team. I said that before the series. I’ve been very impressed with them," Redick told reporters.

"Still think we can beat them. But we’ve got to be better.”
