CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Charlotte Hornets) - The Charlotte Hornets received the 14th overall selection in the 2026 NBA Draft following the results of today’s 2026 NBA Draft Lottery in Chicago. Charlotte entered the lottery with a 97.6 percent chance to land the 14th selection. Truist is the presenting partner of the Hornets 2026 NBA Draft Lottery.
The Hornets have two first-round picks in the 2026 NBA Draft. In addition to the 14th pick, Charlotte also owns the 18th overall pick. Charlotte does not currently own a second-round pick.
The first round of the 2026 NBA Draft will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC/ESPN. The second round will be held on Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
The Hornets have never before selected with the 14th overall pick in the draft. Charlotte has drafted 13th three times and 15th once.
