Reporter’s mind blown by Knicks takeover of Philly – ‘Louder than MSG’

Fans of the New York Knicks chose not to embrace the “visitors” label attached to them on Sunday. They turned the Wells Fargo Center into Madison Square Garden for the Mother's Day NBA Playoffs meeting. Even one reporter believed NYK fans were way louder inside the home of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Knicks inside for The Athletic Fred Katz described the scene inside the home of the 76ers via the social media website X, formerly Twitter.

“I have never experienced an environment like this in my life. It's louder for the Knicks than MSG is,” Katz posted.

Knicks fans showed up in droves. That included franchise legend Patrick Ewing taking the drive down to Philly.
