The Knicks made 25 of 44 three-point shots and that allowed them to keep the Sixers at a distance throughout the game. Deuce McBride, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart rained those three-pointers down on the 76ers, who were unable to mount any kind of solid defensive effort.

McBride made 7 of 9 three-point shots and led the Knicks with 25 points in the game. Brunson has been the Knicks' best player and go-to performer throughout the playoffs. He made 6 of 10 from beyond the arc and scored 22 points. Hart is better known for his defense and all-around play, but he was also hot from beyond the arc. He made 4 of 6 long shots and scored 17 points.

The Knicks got quite a bit of encouragement from Knicks fans who made their way to Philadelphia and were able to secure tickets at the Xfinity Mobile Arena for the clinching game. The Knicks responded to their loud and supportive fans with their memorable shooting performance.

Hart took notice of the large number of Knicks fans in the arena and he fired a shot at Philadelphia fans after the game. “I used to think Philly was a sports town,” Hart said with a half-smile. “I don't know if it is anymore.”

Hart played his college basketball at Villanova, located in the heart of Philadelphia. He was a key member of Villanova's national championship team in the 2015-16 season.
