The Hornets have their point guard of the future in LaMelo Ball, but they will need to add more backcourt depth, especially at the lead guard spot, behind Ball.

Coby White is a free agent this offseason and while it's been said that White could very well to return to Charlotte, keeping an open mind with Stirtz on the target list makes a lot of sense, too.

Again, Stirtz has a lot of value because he can play both on and off the ball, and his ability as a catch-and-shoot threat makes him a more intriguing piece with what the Hornets have, which is a lot of shooting.

The spacing of the shooters mixed with the drivers and slashers on the roster makes it feel like Stirtz could fit in extremely well, and he doesn't need to be the focal point with all that scoring, but he can more than handle his own.
