Gary Neville believes that Arsenal will win the Premier League title on Tuesday, May 19. Mikel Arteta's side took another giant step to claiming their first top-flight in 22 years, as the Gunners edged West Ham 1-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

In a game littered with referee and VAR controversies, Leandro Trossard's 83rd minute strike proved to be the match-winner. It's a result that has moved Arsenal FIVE points clear at the top of the table with two matches remaining, though second-place Manchester City do boast a game in hand.

But ex-Manchester United man Neville is convinced that Arsenal are going to claim the Premier League title this season, claiming the job will be done next Tuesday.

Neville has tipped City to beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday, and for Arsenal to get past Burnley on Monday, but he doesn't think Pep Guardiola's side will finish off Bournemouth the following night (Tuesday 19).

"I think City beat Palace, I think Arsenal beat Burnley and win it on May 19, the Tuesday night, by City not doing the job a Bournemouth," Neville told Sky Sports.

"It can happen all sorts of different ways and Manchester City, to be fair, have got that ability to go right to the end but I think this is a hammer blow for City really.

"They have got the game, Wednesday, against Palace, they have got the cup final against Chelsea next Saturday so they can win a domestic double, which is a big achievement by the way, which deserves some congratulations if they go on and do it, and they have got to go to Bournemouth on the Tuesday.

"I think that could just be maybe a step too far with how Bournemouth are right now and it being Iraola's last game and just the fact they are a good side.

"I called this today, a dog of a game for Arsenal, and I think the game a week on Tuesday is a dog of a game for City and I think that is when it, in my mind if you are predicting it now, I think Arsenal win it without kicking a ball on that Tuesday night."
