Josh Hart questioned whether Philadelphia is still a "sports town" after the New York Knicks swept the 76ers 4-0 with a dominant road win and strong visiting fan support at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
The New York Knicks completed a 4-0 sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday with a dominant 144-114 road win. But the humiliation wasn't limited to what happened on the court.
Josh Hart, who finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, also took a jab at Philadelphia, questioning whether it can still be considered a true "sports town."
Despite playing at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, the Knicks still drew strong support from their own fans, with many traveling from New York to back their team.
"Everybody was begging Philly not to sell their tickets," Hart said. "I used to think Philly was a sports town, I don't know if it is anymore."
After sweeping the 76ers, the Knicks will face either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Detroit Pistons in the Western Conference Finals.
