JJ Redick said the Los Angeles Lakers have been prepared all season for high-pressure situations like Game 4 vs. OKC, noting that "being on the Lakers, you feel like your back's against the wall every game."
The Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of elimination from the 2026 NBA Playoffs, but coach JJ Redick remains hopeful, saying the team's entire season has prepared them for moments like this.
Los Angeles Lakers / Schedule
Ahead of a must-win Game 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Redick said:
"I mean, being on the Lakers, you feel like your back's against the wall every game," he told reporters. "So I think the whole season has prepared us to be in a position where we're in."
"Our first slide that we put up in training camp was [to] win the day," Redick added. "Today [Sunday] was a quick offensive review and then just going over some stuff defensively. Got to win today, and we got to win tomorrow. We know what we're facing being down 3-0. So it's just more of a mindset check than anything else."
The Lakers must win on Monday night in Los Angeles, as they trail 3-0 in the second-round series against OKC.
They will also be without Luka Doncic for Game 4, who has missed every playoff game this year due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
