Arsenal or Manchester United look the most likely destination for the 2025-26 Player of the Year award, and Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer are in agreement on where the award should go.
Arsenal and Man United have both had outstanding seasons, with the former taking a big step towards winning the Premier League title after beating West Ham United 1-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners are now four points clear of second-placed Manchester City with two games to go, although Pep Guardiola's men do have a game in-hand to play against Crystal Palace at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, United are almost certain to finish their league campaign in third position, a huge improvement after they ended the 2024-25 season in 15th, before losing the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
There have been some standout players for both clubs who will be in strong contention for the award, while you would potentially have to look at players from Bournemouth, Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford too, given they are all fighting for European spots for next season.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was once again outstanding in his club's vital victory against West Ham on Sunday.
It was his 18th Premier League clean sheet of the season, and his save from Mateus Fernandes could well prove to be a title-winning moment.
Arsenal could have found themselves 1-0 down if the Portugal international found the net, but instead, minutes later they were ahead thanks to Leandro Trossard's goal.
Bruno Fernandes is also a strong candidate for the award, having already picked up the FWA Player of the Year award.
The Red Devils captain has once again brilliantly led the club this season, and he has a remarkable 19 assists to his name. He is just one away from equalling the Premier League record of 20 for a season, with two games to go.
Micah Richards backed Raya to win the PFA Player of the Year award on the latest episode of the Rest is Football podcast, but co-hosts Lineker and Shearer disagreed.
Shearer replied: "Declan Rice for me."
Lineker added: "Yeah, I think I'd go Declan. I can't... I just haven't got it in me to vote for a goalkeeper."
Who Are the Favourites to Win the PFA Player of the Year?

Fernandes is actually considered the favourite by the bookies, presumably after his FWA award win.
He is closely followed by Declan Rice, although the likes of Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki and Bernardo Silva are all ahead of Raya in the odds.
Perhaps that could change in the next weeks if Raya continues to be the difference at a crucial stage of the campaign for Arsenal.
If you were looking towards the likes of Bournemouth, then young forward Eli Junior Kroupi would surely be in contention. The 19-year-old has scored 12 league goals in 31 appearances in his first season in England.
