Dutch midfielder Victoria Pelova will leave the club at the end of the season when her contract expires. Pelova joined the club from Ajax in January 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the Arsenal midfield.
In the 2023-24 season in particular, her partnership with Kim Little and Lia Walti in midfield really impressed. Pelova ruptured her ACL on international duty in June 2024 and when she returned, she found regular game time difficult to come by under Renee Slegers.
Pelova won two Conti Cups and a Champions League during her time at the club. With Georgia Stanway and Geraldine Reuteler set to join this summer and Kim Little extending her contract for another year, her situation would be unlikely to improve at Arsenal.
In total, Pelova has made 87 appearances and scored six goals during her time with the club. Arsenal have already confirmed the departures of Manu Zinsberger, Naomi Williams and Laia Codina this summer. Confirmed departures are set to be announced ahead of the final home game of the season on Wednesday against Everton.
