According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, league sources believe all 29 teams would naturally have interest in Antetokounmpo if he became available. Still, only around 10 organizations are viewed as realistic contenders to seriously pursue a trade for the Bucks superstar.
The report added that Milwaukee's asking price before the February trade deadline was extremely high. Team sources reportedly told the Journal Sentinel that any potential deal for Antetokounmpo would require "everything" in terms of young talent and future draft picks.
That stance could also signal that the Bucks still want to build around Giannis instead of fully moving on from their franchise player.

Milwaukee enters a critical offseason after a disappointing 2025-26 campaign filled with injuries, frustration, and inconsistency. The Bucks also failed to reach the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2016, increasing pressure around the future of the roster.
Questions around Antetokounmpo's long-term future became even louder near the end of the regular season when both sides reportedly had different views regarding the superstar's health and availability.
Despite playing only 36 games this season, Antetokounmpo remained one of the league's most dominant players. The former MVP averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists while shooting an efficient 62.4% from the field.
