Is Luka Doncic playing in Game 4 tonight vs. Thunder? Final status for Lakers star

The Los Angeles Lakers will look to extend their season and avoid a sweep at the hands on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 on Monday night.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, they'll continue to be without star guard Luka Doncic for the game.

Luka Doncic ruled out for Game 3 vs. Thunder due to hamstring strain

Doncic has been officially ruled out of Game 4 against the Thunder due to the same left hamstring strain that has kept him out of game action since early April.

Doncic hasn't played in the playoffs at all for L.A., and unless they're able to pull out a win in Game 4, he won't get an opportunity to do so.

Extending the series without Doncic will be easier said than done for the Lakers, who have lost all three games in the series to the Thunder by at least 15 points. Meanwhile, the Thunder haven't lost a single game in the playoffs so far.

Doncic has been understandably frustrated by his inability to get out onto the court and help his teammates.

"It's very frustrating. I don't think people understand how frustrating it is. All I want to do is play basketball, especially this time. It's the best time to play basketball," Doncic said.

"It's very frustrating seeing what my team is doing. I'm very proud of them. It's been very tough to just to sit and watch them play."
