On Sunday evening, the San Antonio Spurs dropped Game 4 of their second round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, tying things up at 2-2. However, that was all overshadowed by the ejection of Victor Wembanyama, who threw a vicious elbow that struck Timberwolves big man Naz Reid in the neck in the second quarter.
Now, the only question is whether or not the league will have the gall to suspend Wembanyama for Tuesday's pivotal Game 5.
Recently, noted Spurs fan and sports media personality Michelle Beadle took to FanDuel's “Run It Back” show to attempt to provide “context” to Wembanyama's play, noting that the Timberwolves had been quite physical with the Spurs star over the first three games of the series.
However, Chandler Parsons was not here for any defense of the play.
“You sound like the biased, crazy fan,” said Parsons, per Run It Back on X, formerly Twitter.

Parsons also weighed in on the debate as to whether or not Wembanyama should be suspended for Game 5.
“I don't think this will get blown out of proportion. I don't think he'll be suspended for Game 5, but this was an obvious dirty elbow to a dude's head. You can't do this, and more importantly, you can't put yourself in this situation as Victor Wembanyama, as the engine of this team, to get yourself tossed out of a game,” he added.
There is a precedent for the league suspending players for acts similar to Wembanyama's, with then-Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest finding himself suspended for seven games after elbowing James Harden in a similar manner well over a decade ago.
A decision from the league regarding Wembanyama's status for Game 5 is expected later in the day on Monday.
