No Game 5 suspension for Victor Wembanyama, per report

Spurs center Victor Wembanyama will be on the floor when Minnesota and San Antonio square off in Game 5 on Tuesday in Texas.

ESPN reported Monday morning that no additional discipline — in the form of a fine, or, more pertitently, suspension — is coming from the NBA for Wembanyama, who was ejected in the first half of Minnesota’s Game 4 victory for an elbow to the neck of Wolves forward Naz Reid.

No one in either locker room after the game Sunday seemed to expect any further action on the issue, though the possibility of a suspension was a heavy discussion point on social media and talk shows.
