Knicks drop final social media Always Sunny dagger on 76ers

On Sunday afternoon, the New York Knicks completed a series sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers with a dominant 144-114 win in Game 4 of their series. The Knicks will now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight year, where they will take on either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Detroit Pistons.

The Knicks caught fire from beyond the three-point line on Sunday, and New York's social media team used the outburst as a chance to troll their playoff rivals after the game.

Indeed, the Knicks were scorching from beyond the arc in this one, knocking down 11 three-pointers in the first quarter alone, which also tied a playoff record, and staying hot throughout much of the game.

Making matters even more impressive for the Knicks was the fact that the team played the last two games without OG Anunoby, who injured his hamstring in the fourth quarter of Game 2, the only truly competitive game of the series. Up to that point, Anunoby had been arguably the Knicks' best player during their postseason run, so the fact that they were able to dominate both games in Philadelphia without him is certainly an encouraging sign moving forward.

Knicks fans packed the seats in Philadelphia for Game 4, seeming to heavily outweigh the amount of 76ers fans in attendance. Of course, the hometown crowd didn't have much to cheer about in this one to begin with, as New York took control of Game 4 essentially from the opening tip.

The Knicks will now have until at least Sunday, and possibly longer than that, to rest up and get Anunoby healthy before the conference finals get underway against either the Cavaliers or the Pistons, depending on the result of their series.
