NBA rumors: Bucks insider claims 10 teams could make real Giannis Antetokounmpo trade pursuit

It didn't take long for the Milwaukee Bucks to become the center of attention once again, and it all involves Giannis Antetokounmpo. It looks like the team is open to listening to trade offers for the two-time MVP, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, and there will no doubt be a list of teams looking to get into the sweepstakes.

Though anybody would be interested in a player like Antetokounmpo, there is a certain number of teams that have real interest in him, according to Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“Multiple league sources told the Journal Sentinel that while 29 other teams would of course be ‘interested' in Antetokounmpo, there may be about 10 teams that could truly make a run at the two-time MVP,” Owczarski wrote. “Heading into the February trade deadline, team sources maintained to the Journal Sentinel that any potential deal for the star would require ‘everything' in terms of young players and future draft assets. If the Bucks maintain such a firm stance on a big return, it might be more indicative of the team's willingness to continue to retool around its star.”

The Bucks seem to be looking for a nice package to move Antetokounmpo, and that could mean that teams would have to be willing to give up a lot. Some teams already might not have much to give, but for the teams that do, would they really be willing to give it up for one player?

Antetokounmpo is in his prime, and if you pair him with the right players, there's no doubt that he could make them title contenders instantly.

It's uncertain what teams would be willing to make such a move, but it would have to be someone who truly feels they're just one player away from getting to where they want to go.
