Four Arkansas Razorbacks will begin their NBA Draft Combine journey in Chicago this week. Darius Acuff Jr., Meleek Thomas, Billy Richmond and Trevon Brazile all received official invites last week and will attend the week-long scouting combine, and fans will be able to follow along as the future Pro Hogs go through every drill, measurement, interview and more this week.
While all four received invites, Acuff and Thomas will not be participating in the drills or scrimmages. Richmond and Brazile are set to participate in all throughout the weeks, but Acuff and Thomas will only go through measurements, interviews and medical testing.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's drill and scrimmage portions will be televised. On Tuesday at 1 p.m. (CDT), ESPN2 will have coverage of Strength, Agility and Shooting Drills. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday, scrimmages will be televised at 1 p.m. (CDT). Day 1's scrimmages will be televised on ESPN2, and Day 2's scrimmages will be televised on NBA TV.
As the week progresses, players will go through interviews with different scouts, coaches and front office personnel while also conducting media sessions. The action will take place at Wintrust Arena and Marriott Marquis in Chicago.
In total there are 73 prospects who received invites to the combine. Arkansas' four combine invites is tied with Arizona and Houston as the most invites of any programs this year. There were only 71 early-entrants into this year's draft, which is a player who declares for the draft with remaining college eligibility. That is the lowest number of early entrants since the 2003 NBA Draft.
Of Arkansas' four combine invites, three are early-entrants and two still could return back to Fayetteville for another season. Brazile is the only one who has exhausted eligibility. Both Thomas and Richmond will have until May 27 at 10:59 p.m. (CDT) to formally withdraw from NBA Draft process and return to college for next season.
Below is a player-specific breakdown of measurables, testing numbers, scrimmage stats and more updates as they come available throughout the week.
