Unlike head coach JB Bickerstaff, Cade Cunningham offered a much different perspective about the amount of free throws for the Pistons and the Cavaliers in Game 4.
JB Bickerstaff complained immediately as he was asked about the free-throw discrepancy between the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Even though he also noticed the obvious foul-shooting gap between the two teams, Cade Cunningham refused to blame and rant about the referees for Monday night’s 112-103 defeat.
"I mean, we played two different games tonight," Cunningham told reporters. "But I mean, it is what it is. I realized early on it's gonna be one of those type of nights. I got hit on my arm early, I didn't get a whistle. Everybody didn't wanna look at me after that, I kinda knew what it was. So just playing the game, we can't allow that to get to us.
"That's part of the game. The home team never knows how it's gonna be."
Donovan Mitchell alone shot more free throws than Cunningham and the entire Pistons team, as the Cavs star nailed 13 of his 15 shots from the foul line.
In the end, Cunningham isn't dwelling too much on the uneven free throws for the Cavs and the Pistons, knowing that they failed to match Cleveland down the stretch.
"It's gonna be hard when you're on the road. So just controlling our emotions, controlling what we can control and playing the best brand of basketball we can play," Cunningham added, who finished with a passive 19 points for the Pistons.
"That's not why we lost the game. I don't know if it was like 20 free throws disparity or something like that. I mean, it definitely didn't help."
