LeBron James spoke about his uncertain future after the Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated 115-110 by the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4. He said he will take time with his family before deciding his next steps.
The Los Angeles Lakers season came to an end after a 115-110 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4, with LeBron James now facing questions about his future in the NBA.
Oklahoma City closed out the series at home and eliminated the Lakers, ending another playoff run for the veteran star.
After the game, LeBron was asked about what comes next and admitted he does not have answers yet.
"I don't know, obviously. We're still fresh from losing," he said per Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints. "I don't know what the future holds for me... I'll go back and recalibrate with my family and talk to them, spend some time with them, and when the time comes, you guys will know what I decide to do."
LeBron finished the game with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists, leading the Lakers in a tough loss.
Austin Reaves added 27 points, six assists, and six rebounds, while Rui Hachimura scored 25 points. Jaxson Hayes also gave Los Angeles 18 points, but it was not enough to extend the series.
For Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander once again led the way with 35 points and eight assists. Ajay Mitchell added 28 points, while Chet Holmgren posted 16 points and eight rebounds as the Thunder advanced.
