Junior Viranatuelo brings close to two decades of basketball team operations experience to the Perth Wildcats, having worked across the NBA, NBL and Australian national team programs.
Since 2008, he has held the role of Team Lead Manager for the Australian Boomers, building an impressive resume that includes three Olympic Games, three FIBA World Cups and a Commonwealth Games campaign.
Viranatuelo’s reputation is well known throughout the NBL following stints with the Gold Coast Blaze, Adelaide 36ers, Brisbane Bullets and Cairns Taipans, while his extensive background in team operations also saw him spend two seasons in the NBA with the Utah Jazz as Assistant Equipment Manager between 2021/22.
Alongside his basketball operations experience, Viranatuelo also serves as Foundation Coordinator for the Patty Mills’ Team Mills Foundation, further highlighting his long-standing involvement within the basketball community.
