The New York Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs over the weekend, winning Game Four, 144-114. Leading the way for the Knicks was West Virginia alumnus Miles McBride, who hit 7-of-9 three-point attempts and finished with 25 points. That pushed his playoff total for this season to 75 points.... which also vaulted him into second place in NBA Playoff history for a former WVU player.
At the top of the list, not surprisingly, is Jerry West. It's unlikely anyone from WVU will ever pass his total of 4,457 - as not many players ever are ahead of him. That total currently ranks No. 9 in NBA (only, not ABA) history, with only Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Kareem, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Durant and Malone ahead of him.
