Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is plotting a raid on his former club Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.
With the Midlands club looking likely to qualify for the Champions League this season, they'll be hoping to significantly improve their squad in the summer.
Villa have already had to deal with the hectic fixture schedule that comes with playing in Europe, but they'll need more quality throughout their squad if playing in the Champions League.
Emery's side reached the Europa League final recently, while also having a strong season in the Premier League.
Villa are undoubtedly an attractive prospect to many players around Europe heading into the new campaign, and they could look to take advantage in the summer.

Unai Emery
According to a report from Sports Boom, Aston Villa are one of the sides showing an interest in signing Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri ahead of the summer transfer window.
It's claimed that the Gunners could open the door to an exit for a fee of around £52 million, so as they look to build a transfer kitty to help fund a busy summer.
Nwaneri, who has been described as 'phenomenal', was sent out on loan by Arsenal to French side Marseille, with the England youth international struggling for regular minutes at the Emirates Stadium.
Other clubs are showing an interest in securing his signature, including Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Juventus, and Chelsea.
Villa would be able to offer Nwaneri a route to remain in the Premier League, but it remains to be seen where he would like to go.
Nwaneri Could be Elliott Replacement

If Nwaneri did arrive at Villa Park in the summer transfer window, he could be a replacement for Harvey Elliott.
Elliott arrived at Villa last summer, joining the club on loan from Liverpool, but he struggled to make an impact under Emery.
The 23-year-old has played just four times in the Premier League, and it looks incredibly unlikely that the Midlands club will turn his loan deal permanent.
Nwaneri undoubtedly has what it takes to make an impact in the Premier League, but it's always going to be difficult for him to break into the Arsenal starting eleven.
