He left the London Stadium with a knee brace, indicating the severity of the injury.
White has already missed 10 games due to injuries this season, but has managed to feature in 30 games across all competitions, chipping in with one goal and two assists.
The England international has been pivotal to Arsenal’s resurgent form, having started the last five games across all competitions.
Manager Mikel Arteta now faces a huge selection dilemma, with Jurrien Timber also on the sidelines.
Arteta may now have to rely on Cristian Mosquera to play at right-back for the rest of the season, with uncertainty surrounding Timber’s recovery.
The 21-year-old centre-back has played at right-back four times already this season and this could afford him the opportunity to nail a starting berth for the rest of the campaign.
Meanwhile, midfielder Declan Rice has been struggling with his fitness, ‘managing discomfort and small niggles in recent weeks‘.
