Lots of celebrities made it to the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 4 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, including Phoenix Suns star Dillon Brooks, who appeared to be there to troll his rival, LeBron James.
Brooks sat courtside underneath one of the baskets during the game. At one point, James was shooting free throws directly in front of Brooks, who appeared to be enjoying it, maniacally laughing.
Carl Anka of The Athletic wrote, “Looking like a Disney movie villain. I can only respect this,” in response to the viral clip. It's hard to ignore the accuracy of the comparison.

Others weighed in. Another fan said they had to respect the move and now wanted to buy his jersey, writing, “Mans put on his best ice to watch Bron get swept. Where can I find his Jersey man[?]”
Someone joked that if they send you a picture of Brooks laughing during the game, it means he's “praying for your downfall.” A different X user similarly had respect for Dillon, saying, “Iced out sitting courtside while watching his biggest nemesis fall. Real hate deserves respect.”

James and Brooks have a longstanding beef. During a December 2025 win over the Suns, Brooks was ejected after getting in James' face after hitting a three-pointer.
However, their feud seemingly predates that encounter. Brooks, who was on the Memphis Grizzlies at the time, called James “old” during the 2023 playoffs.
If James decides to return for the 2026-27 NBA season, he will have another chance to add another chapter to his rivalry with Brooks.
The Lakers were swept by the Thunder in the playoffs. Game 4 was the closest contest between them, as Los Angeles only lost by five points. However, it wasn't enough to win the game, and the Lakers were sent packing.
