On Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder. They lost 115-110 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Immediately, one of the first questions asked was what the future holds for 41-year-old LeBron James.
Afterward, James even said, “I don't know”.
But while all accounts say that James will remain in Los Angeles, other teams may be knocking at his door, per Dan Woike and Sam Amick of The Athletic. There could be a possibility that the Golden State Warriors and his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, would want him.

Furthermore, it may be the case that James will inch closer to retirement this summer. But at the same time, given the Lakers' good position, it would allow James to continue.
