Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Luka Doncic is reportedly already making major changes after their season came to an end.
According to Dan Woike of The Athletic, Doncic has begun a strict diet to stay in peak shape throughout the season.

The 27-year-old has struggled with injuries the past two seasons. Before being traded to the Lakers, he suffered a severe left calf strain on Christmas Day 2024 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
Doncic was out for close to two months and played in a total of 50 games in the 2024-25 season.
As for this past season, Doncic played in 64 games, but missed the Lakers' entire playoff run due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Injuries have been a struggle for the six-time All-Star as of late, and he appears to be taking the necessary steps to remain on the court.

Last offseason, Doncic stole the show with his noticeable weight change, losing 31 pounds. Doncic appeared on the cover of Men's Health magazine to talk about his diet and the steps he took to make those significant changes.
The Lakers superstar is committed to maintaining his body not only for the summer months but also for their crucial 2026-27 season with the purple and gold.
Los Angeles has a ton on its plate this offseason, and Doncic will be at the forefront of it. The Lakers will make all the decisions centering around the Slovenian superstar as they look for title No. 18 in their storied franchise.
This past season, Doncic showed why he is a top-three player in the world when healthy. In 64 games, he averaged 33.5 points per game (leading the league in scoring), 8.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from beyond the arc.
