Clarke, who was born in Vancouver, Canada, spent all seven of his NBA seasons in Memphis, Tenn. The Grizzlies have not released a cause of death.
"We are devastated by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke," the team wrote on Instagram.
Last season, Clarke only played two games due to several injuries.
