David Raya has won the Premier League Golden Glove award for the third year in a row. This makes him only the fourth goalkeeper in Premier League history to win it three seasons back to back. It is a big achievement that shows how consistent and reliable he is for Arsenal.
The Golden Glove Award for David Raya
The Golden Glove is given to the goalkeeper who keeps the highest clean sheets in a Premier League season. A clean sheet is a top honor for keepers because it rewards strong defense and great shot stopping. Raya won this award in the 2023-24, 2024-25, and now 2025-26 seasons. He joined an elite group with just three other keepers before him.
Very few goalkeepers who have won three Golden Gloves in a row. Pepe Reina from Liverpool has won from 2005-06 to 2007-08. Then, Joe Hart from Manchester City has won from 2010-11 to 2012-13. After that Ederson, again from Manchester City has won from 2020-21 to 2022-23. Now comes David Raya, who has won it from 2023-24 to 2025-26.
Raya’s stats, as per Premier League:
Appearances Goals Conceded Clean Sheets Saves Made
36 26 18 60
In the 2025-26 season, Raya played 36 league games and kept 18 clean sheets. This was enough to win the award clearly. He finished four clean sheets ahead of his nearest challengers like Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Gunners have conceded only 26 goals in the league which is one of the fewest. Moreover, Raya made many important saves throughout the year. He has helped Arsenal stay strong at the top of the table. His save percentage and command of the box have been excellent. Many fans and experts now call him one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

How Raya’s Journey Started at Arsenal
David Raya joined Arsenal from Brentford in 2023. At first, some fans were not sure about him. As per reports from SI, he won the Golden Glove in his first full season with 16 clean sheets. He repeated it the next year with strong numbers again and now, three in a row shows it was no luck. Raya is good with his feet, organizes the defense well, and makes big saves when needed. Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta trusts him fully.
With Raya in goal, Arsenal have one of the strongest defences in England. Few goals are scored against them. This helps the team fight for the Premier League title and do well in other competitions like the Champions League. If Raya wins another Golden Glove next season, he will join Petr Cech and Joe Hart as one of the few with four wins overall.
