Metta World Peace shares brutal take on Victor Wembanyama elbow incident

Metta World Peace was notably suspended for seven games in 2012 for his notorious elbow on James Harden.

Victor Wembanyama made headlines for his infamous incident in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves, blatantly elbowing Naz Reid in the neck which earned his eventual ejection.

While he fully understands the emotions around Wembanyama, Metta World Peace can only wonder about his infamous similar situation 14 years ago,

“I got a little bit emotional,” World Peace told Brandon Robinson. “Sometimes you gotta win on the court and focus on the game. I wish I could not be able to be suspended and focus on the game. But, they ejected him and gave him a flagrant 2.”
