Chris Finch reacts to no NBA suspension on Victor Wembanyama elbow

Chris Finch appears unsurprised about the NBA's no-punishment ruling against Victor Wembanyama's elbow on Naz Reid.

Chris Finch kept it blunt and straightforward on whether he had any reaction to the NBA's decision on Victor Wembanyama's elbow incident on Naz Reid.

San Antonio Spurs / Schedule

"Not really," Finch simply said ahead of Game 5 between the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves, per Tom Petrini of On SI.

As announced, the league didn't issue any punishment - either a suspension or a fine - against Wembanyama for elbowing Reid in Game 4 of the second-round series.

Wembanyama committed the act with over eight minutes left in the second quarter of the Wolves' Sunday win, ultimately earning an ejection from the officials.

On his end, Spurs coach Mitch Johnson argued that Wembanyama needs to protect himself at some point.

Wembanyama is all set to lead the Spurs in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Wolves, as the second-round series is currently tied at 2-2.
