AJ Dybantsa is convinced enough that he is talented enough and can "fill the seats" if he gets chosen as the No. 1 pick of the 2026 NBA Draft.
AJ Dybantsa has plenty of intriguing words to offer on why he should be chosen as the No. 1 pick of this year's NBA Draft.
Following the 2026 NBA Draft Combine, the 18-year-old sensation presented his case as the potential top overall selection of his class.
"I’m super versatile. I think I can bring a lot to the team on and off the court. I think I play the game the right way, but I’m exciting and I know I fill the seats," he told ESPN's Vanessa Richardson.
Dybantsa is significantly being considered the top prospect of this upcoming NBA Draft, boasting an immense combination of size, athleticism, explosiveness and potential.
In his lone season for BYU, Dybantsa has been an absolute standout, leading college basketball with 25.5 points along with 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 51.0 percent from the field.
As the Wizards hit the jackpot and have the right to choose first in next month's draft, it's now up to the franchise whether they will be convinced enough to pursue Dybantsa.
If so, he will be the first Wizard to go No. 1 since franchise icon John Wall.
