People on social media noticed that Alperen and Hannah Cherry had changed things on Instagram which has led to an explosion of speculations.
Alperen being one of the main attention getters, only increased the amount of rumors surrounding him and his alleged girlfriend.

According to online reports, Cherry’s account is now supposedly set to private, and she reportedly has no public posts anymore, whereas Şengün has allegedly unfollowed her on Instagram.

Alperen Şengün and his girlfriend of 5 years, Hannah Cherry, have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The couple has been publicly together for some time. According to the report, Şengün and Cherry first publicly acknowledged their relationship on Instagram in April 2022, and a follow-up story claimed they had been together since at least January 2022.

While the off-court gossip keeps escalating, Şengün’s performance on the court has been consistently excellent. Stats shows him averaging 20.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game, stats that clearly illustrate why he is one of the most valuable players of Houston even now. At 23, he has become the franchise’s main attraction and is also one of the most talented young big men in the league.
Alperen Şengün’s playoff run has been anything but quiet. During Houston’s first-round series against the Lakers, he almost got into a scuffle with LeBron James after a foul call led to some trash talking.
The series also had a very controversial Deandre Ayton ejection in which he hit Şengün’s head. Despite all that drama, Şengün continued to be productive and aggressive, and the noise around him felt like his rise to stardom.
If a breakup happens, it still remains a rumor until one of the parties involved speaks out. Probably it would be better for fans not to interpret an unfollow or switching to a private account as something serious.
