Sporting director Andrea Berta seems hard at work in N5 as Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of players ahead of the summer transfer window.
One of them is Bradley Barcola, who Arsenal are interested in and the good news for Berta is that the Frenchman could depart Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
The Gunners are eyeing Eli Junior Kroupi as well, who could be on his way out of AFC Bournemouth.
Caught Offside have now revealed that Morten Hjulmand is on Arsenal’s radar as well.
Arsenal target Morten Hjulmand could exit Sporting
The report mentions that Arsenal enquired about signing Hjulmand during the Champions League quarter-finals against Sporting CP. Ivan Fresneda was on Arsenal’s agenda at the time and so was Ousmane Diomande.
Manchester United are also believed to be interested in the 26-year-old, even though the Dane is not at the summit of their summer targets in midfield.

With Martin Zubimendi struggling for form, the holding midfielder could be a welcome addition to this Arsenal side.
Even though Hjulmand has a release clause worth €80 million (£69.2 million), Sporting are willing to do negotiate his exit for less than the fee.
Morten Hjulmand and Viktor Gyokeres’ record together at Sporting CP
Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has played alongside Hjulmand 88 times during their time together at Sporting.

Furthermore, Gyokeres and Hjulmand have been involved in four goals as a duo. Perhaps the Swede would be on board with his former teammate’s potential addition at Arsenal.
