Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he is not optimistic about the chances of Ben White returning to fitness anytime soon.
The right-back was forced off with a knee injury after tackling Crysencio Summerville during the 1-0 win over West Ham at the weekend.
Asked for an early prognosis on White following the final whistle, Arteta was pretty downbeat:
“We don’t know, but he doesn’t look good at all, so he needs some further testing tomorrow probably, and I know a bit more.”

Riccardo Calafiori
The Italian international was substituted at halftime against West Ham on Sunday due to a muscular problem.
Arteta revealed after the match that Calafiori was taken off as a precaution:
“At half-time, we had to make another one with Richy’s injury. [He] felt something and we couldn’t take the risk.”
The fact that Calafiori picked up a niggle suggests he may not face Burnley on Monday, but he could play before the end of the season.
