According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Boston Celtics are not a serious Giannis Antetokounmpo suitor as of now.
The Boston Celtics have been widely named as one of the top potential trade destinations for Giannis Antetokounmpo, but a deal is reportedly nowhere close to happening.

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Celtics are not considered a serious suitor for Antetokounmpo as of now.
"The Celtics have come out and said that they love Jaylen Brown and that they feel good about him. I do know that Boston made a call to the Bucks before February's trade deadline, but I do not think Boston ever loomed as a very serious suitor. Until I hear otherwise, I don't think they're necessarily going to be one ", Fischer reported on Bleacher Report.
If the Celtics and Bucks were to consider a Giannis deal, it would most likely include Jaylen Brown, who is making a similar amount of money to the two-time NBA MVP.

At the same time, the duo of Brown and Jayson Tatum has already proven capable of winning a championship, which would make the decision even harder if Boston ever considered pulling the trigger on such a trade.
Brown delivered his best season yet, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. He has shown he can be a No. 1 option and a two-way player.
On the other side, Giannis also remained productive when on the floor. He averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in 36 games, continuing to dominate inside and in transition.
Milwaukee's disappointing run has increased pressure on the front office. The team now faces major decisions about its future and whether to build around Giannis or consider a major reset.
