Arsenal Women beat Everton with an added-time breakthrough to go second in the Barclays WSL table.
Stina Blackstenius scored the goal in the 93rd minute in front of over 25,000 at Emirates Stadium, taking advantage as the ball dropped kindly for her following a collision between Everton goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan and the Gunners’ Leah Williamson.
Beth Mead was earlier denied twice by the crossbar in her final Arsenal home game, while Clare Wheeler missed a great chance for Everton.
The result puts Arsenal two points ahead of Chelsea before the final day on Saturday, which will determine the runners-up and who has to go through Champions League qualifying.
