With the NBA Draft Lottery order now final, all the speculation on where players might land has ramped up. The Washington Wizards are said to be eyeing AJ Dybantsa at No. 1, along with the Utah Jazz taking Darryn Peterson at No. 2, and Cameron Boozer to the Memphis Grizzlies at No.3.
However, there's a ton of rumors flying around about Dybantsa not being a lock for the top pick. Over the start of the NBA Draft Combine, all 30 NBA teams are on hand with the players and scouts gathering intel from each other. This has led to asking which direction Washington will go in on draft night.
"We were surprised the broadcast made it seem like such a foregone conclusion," an NBA scout told [CBS Sports](https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-draft-combine-intel-aj-dybantsa-washington/) about Dybantsa going No. 1 overall.
This is no surprise considering the Jazz are at No. 2. Dybantsa shined at BYU and has become fond of the atmosphere in the Beehive State.
"Dybantsa's own comments on lottery night added a little more intrigue to the scenario at the top of the draft, CBS Sports' Adam Finkelstein wrote. "The BYU star implied that he was open to working out for more than one team (two to be exact). That comment by Dybantsa was also consistent with one of the most repeated pieces of intel floating around Chicago this week: that Dybantsa was reportedly hoping to stay in Utah.

"He's been in Utah now for two years (one season at Utah Prep and one season in Provo at BYU). His family is now with him in Utah, and they've grown to like the state and were hoping to stay."
This puts a ton of pressure on Washington to make a decision and stick with it. If Dybantsa doesn't want to be with the Wizards, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer are both there as options. However, this could create some drama down the line.
