Why Duncan Robinson isn't playing tonight for Pistons with injury news

Duncan Robinson has been one of the most impactful players in the Eastern Conference semifinals for the Detroit Pistons against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On Wednesday, though, for the first time in these playoffs, Robinson isn't playing.

It's not good news for the Pistons, who saw their 2-0 series lead evaporate into a 2-2 tie heading into Wednesday's Game 5.

They'll have to get the job done without Robinson.

Why isn't Duncan Robinson playing tonight?

Robinson is out due to an injury that had previously listed him as questionable.

It's lower-back soreness keeping Robinson out of action.

Daniss Jenkins replaces him in the starting lineup.

Robinson has averaged 13.8 points per game through the first four games of the series. He's been shooting an absurd 57.7% from 3-point range.

In addition to Jenkins, there should be more action for Caris LeVert off the bench.
